- Two members of the band originally met in Philadelphia, PA but later reconnected in Los Angeles to start what is now Mt. Joy!
- Mt. Joy’s lead singer, Matt Quinn dropped out of law school to pursue a musical career!
- Mt. Joy’s hit single “Silver Lining” hit number one of Billboard’s Adult Alternative Airplay with over 120 million Spotify streams.
- Mt. Joy says their musical inspiration is Grateful Dead!
- Mt. Joy’s band name is inspired by one of Pennsylvania’s national parks, Valley Forge.
- Matt Quinn and Sam Cooper attended college together at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Mt. Joy signed with Dualtone Records in 2017.
